This! Completely agree. It's not unlike a check they mail out as a result of those class-action lawsuits that pays $2-$5 for online purchases or Verizon or something. Easily could be construed as junk mail.

Bought a shield a few weeks ago and tried to submit my rebate online. System doesn't recognize my Serial Number. Online chatted with customer service and they said its a glitch in their system so I have to mail it in. Pain in the arse, but I want my free stuff.

I submitted my rebates for a shield 45 and .380 bodyguard last May(2017) and still haven't received anything, honestly i forgot about it. I contacted S&W support and after a bit of back and forth they are "resending" my rebate for the shield but had no record of the bodyguard submission, so instead they offered me 2 extra mags, a speed loader and 2 boxes of ammo for my shield 9mm, which i accepted.
If you submitted a rebate claim and haven't heard anything i'd contact them and hold their feet to the fire a little.
