Chandeleur Islands; anyone been lately?

What has the fishing been like the last couple weeks? Looking at making a trip out there in a week or two.

Yes. It’s a grind. Which outfit are you going or staying with? If you have a few days a a few guys, you can dial into what works and when. By the time we get dialed in, it’s time to bounce home.

I went in mid April and didn't get a single bite on anything until I started targeting sheepsheads. Then caught like 20 sheepshead in 30 mins before haveing to bail out because of the weather.

Been about 3 weeks, but a group of coworkers went. Caught a few the 1st day, hammered them on the second day. They ended up with 200 trout over those 2 days for 7 guys. They were in New Harbor Island area on one of the motherships. Caught their biggest numbers in a cut on the main island northeast of New Harbor.
