Awesome man. I'm jealous. I've casted so much the last couple of weeks and have hardly caught anything. Its been tough here in Pcola for me. Don't have a boat though.
On Saturday we were fishing from shore at Blue Angel RV Park on Perdido Bay. We were catching mostly catfish and 1 small drum. This boy that looked to be about 10 or 11 was next to us on the beach throwing his cast net, and fishing with small bait fish he was catching. He was there camping with his family, they were from Alexander City, AL, right down the road from where my parents live. He wasn't catching anything, but he was really impressed that we were catching a lot of fish (even though we hate catching hardheads.)
We offered him some of our salted shrimp to use, which he gladly accepted. Damn if that kid didn't immediately land a beautiful, perfect slot sized red with some really cool spots! We ran over and lauded him for his catch, and his family gathered around to see. The kid was glowing. It was a pretty cool moment.

That is very cool and what it's all about. Kid won't forget that for the rest of his life.
