any of the good "ponds" in the area will most likely be private anyway.

Ive been hearing that but i went through there last week and didnt see the first gate or posted sign

theres no gates anywhere
posted signs are right up against the marsh bank that says no trespassing la land and exploration company.
few and far between.

fwiw, the leases I hunt are to the south that's pretty big and a smaller one that borders the reserve

Old Texaco Field. They dredged where ever they needed to bring in a drilling rig.
My dad worked there 42 years. I haven’t been in that area in years. I know I wouldn’t recognize the place now.

wont be right there by the canals but north along the dam there are ponds we used to fish until they got marked off for duck leases.
