My wife recently express an interest in going fishing and then having dinner. Is there a service anyone would recommend that offers this kind of package?

If you google catch and cook it’s mostly recipes etc.

There are marinas and restaurants near harbors that will certainly do that for you. Most that I know of are near saltwater ports. Where are you looking to go? Local? Vacation?

Yes sorry. We live on the Northshore. Willing to go Rigolets east bank or west bank.

Cook and Catch State List

There is an official list at that link. Only one on Northshore. There are others at marinas that must not be "official". I know Venice Marina restaurant does it. Not sure of any towards the Rigolets.

Hop over to BSL and get the Shore Thing charters to take y’all out. TBT will cook it for you…or you could just go to Thorny Oyster and get their whole fish dish…that would be better. Stay at the Pearl…would make for a great weekend.

Closest restaurant service to fishing and you may be Slidell. If you call some guides in the area you’d like to fish I bet they can suggest a restaurant you can take your fish to.

I used to work at a restaurant in the dell that let someone bring fresh red fish and speckled trout. Chef would clean and cook it for him. They were good friends so I don't know if it was just something for him. He always had extra, best fish I had.

Sorry bit of a tangent since that place is now closed.

I would check around with guides in that area pretty sure they have a few that offer combo lodging and food with their trips.
