Never really noticed TBH. I guess I assumed differently but going back and looking at some videos it appears you are correct. I assumed because I’ve read so often that it’s better to cast/reel opposite. I appreciate you correcting me, that is sincere.

Skeet Reese and a few other bass pros have videos out especially on basstv about advantages of casting left handed for pitching and flipping.

I find when pitching, flipping, and worm fishing left handed reels help me respond quicker to a fast jig or worm bite.

It is around 2:00 minute mark in the video he explains why casting left handed when pitching or flipping better.
