Every time. I have been towing a 5th wheel for several years and side mirrors are all you have. Obviously you can't see shite out of the back. I use the method cgrand described.

Are yall poor? I stare at my 14" backup camera and go in like Dale Jr

But seriously, I dont use only the side mirrors. Dont tow a trailer enough to need to get that down

Used to tow with a small SUV, I would flip up the back door and could run my boat down the ramp like lightning. Even come in at a 90 degree angle when you had buttheads blocking the ramp at the point.

Now I have a Canyon, the mirrors are not tow mirrors, I cannot see the wheels of my trailer, so I use the turn around method, may even drop the tailgate to improve my view.

This. But i'll be honest...those short arse utility trailors can piss me off. Everything longer than 10-12' is gravy.

Something narrower than the truck is a mega bitch. By the time you can see the damn thing it’s too late.

Don’t sweat these guys man. The majority of folks on here cannot perform a single back using only mirrors. Just get out there in the yard and practice. You will be golden before you know it
