I'm leaning toward the big cat, it has better reviews and is a little cheaper.
screw the silencer, I just crank up the lawnmower and leave it running. I shot 4 with in 10 minutes one morning, got set up near the spot they jump into my pecan tree and plucked them off. Still didn't get any pecans.

I kill squirrels all season in the back yard.

Squirrels at my house are off limits by royal order from the queen. My friend wants them gone, so I'm happy to oblige.

For my county, season is open year round with no bag limit...says so right in the proclamation.
Lots of pecan trees and an endless supply of squirrels. I can shoot 10 in my back yard, and within 2 hours, the population vacuum has already been filled.

No, you can trap them. I called LDWF guy told me as long as your neighbors don't mind you should be okay popping them with the pellet gun.
I was told the same thing when they were eating my house. Called my neighbors to get the OK. They all begged that I come over and cull the tree rates (otherwise known as "fruit of the woods") out of their yards too. Popped 37 in the first two days.

If that were the case suddenly everyone would have squirrel problems.

My neighbor had a Benjamin air rifle growing up, and it had great sights and was really powerful. 2 pumps was like 8 pumps on my Daisy. We used to sit on his couch with the door open and shoot them and Doves out of the pine trees.
