you check with any boat stores near you on locating a manual?

Yeah. I even called everyone in the greater Tenn area and no one had the manual. I can buy it for 80 bucks on Amazon, but I am moving for the cheap way, message boards and mistakes.

18ft SeaArk. Yeah, I know, hell of a Duck hunting rig and great for freshwater around here.

ETA: my bad, 18ft. wrong key.

We (my dad) have an old boat with a 70-some-odd-year 115hp Johnson on it that hasn't been run in twenty years. Think it would be worth trying to get that thing up and running to put on some boat?

Ha ha. Not mine to sell, and he doesn't seem too thrilled when I even bring up trying to get it running again.

I'm sure it would still run well, assuming it would run and not have many problems (obviously). It's been garage kept this whole time. The internals look good when you pop the cover off.

I have a 5 1/2 Johnson, 1962 that set up for 20 years. Last year bought a new gas tank and line for it. Cranked on about the 7th pull.

Call Freddy Breaux in Henderson. He is the master of all outboard mechanics.

He is the only person I would hire to work on anything I own. He is the best Merc mechanic in Louisiana. Oh, his son will be a great one too one day!

If you need his phone number, let me know.
