Oddly enough I was sipping whiskey as well while the gnats feasted on my back.
I only had 1 drunk-arse bug fall into my glass though. I might have thrown up if I was in your position.

I had set the glass down unattended for like 5 minutes maybe das a factor. Thankfully I saw them as I raised the glass to my lips. I aint squeamish so I'da probably just spit them out.

either this or some places have this stuff called Buggins that works. My contractors use the mix above liberally and swear by it. My poor wife had her eye swoll shut last week because one of them got her on the eye brow.
