How many of you have ever used this stuff?

I've been using it off and on for about 3 years now and I'm extremely impressed with it. It's always very clean, very accurate, and above all it makes a really REALLY big boom.

So I was kicking around their website a minute ago and came across this.

If you look at the bottom they list the velocities of their various "heavy" .357 magnum loads out of an 18.5" marlin lever action. The 158 grain load comes out at 2153fps
That is pretty damn impressive for a wennie ol .357

So my question is, why is this stuff not more popular? I'm the only person I know who has ever purchased buffalo bore ammo.

Deer Grenade 44 Mag. +P
1. 1935 fps -- Marlin 1894 20 inch
2578 ft/lbs of energy.

That stuff kicks arse. Too 'spensive for me to shoot for fun though. If I were shooting deer with my 44 Mag, it'd be my choice.

Their .44 mag +P+ load is just flat out scarey.

HOLY shite to both of those loads, the 357 and the 44.

Buffalo Bore is pretty damn impressive. They get some very high velocities that you wouldn't even think are possible.

And they supposedly do it at standard pressures.

Go fumble around their website. The handgun loads are monstrous.

The thing is, my blackhawk loves the heavy .357 180gr hard cast load. It shoots that better than anything else. The difference in recoil isn't much compared to regular full house loads.

Their rifle ammo is pretty expensive. The .30-30 and .45-70 loads have been tempting me for a long time though.

I've come close to buying a box before. Their rifle ammo is just so expensive. From what I've shot it's great though.

So far I've shot (all .357) several boxes of heavy 180gr hard cast, a few boxes of heavy 158gr JHP, one box of heavy 125gr JHP (1700fps) and one box of 125gr tactical low flash low recoil.

The heavy 125 was abusive on the ears with earmuffs and there was just too much fire. My gun didn't shoot them well. It seems to like heavier bullets.

The amount of fire and kaboom was mind blowing

I keep BB loaded in my .380, the ballistics are pretty impressive, brings it up to par with a 38 special

at the range i loaded a magazine staggered with regular loads and BB loads, there was a noticeable thump when the BB cycled
