Guy was only 63, figured he was 73 by his looks.

His shows sucked as most of them do.

Started out not to crazy about Buck, but I learned to really enjoy his shows. He had a very unique delivery that could be mistaken for arrogance, but he really appeared to be a nice, genuine guy. Sad loss of a nice guy that had some very good shows.

used to stay up late to watch him on antenna tv when I was a kid. One of the only hunting shows I could watch.

Not a real great sportsman tbh.

That's really the 1st thought that comes to your mind hearing the guy died? You must be a miserable human.

Damn. I still DVR his show that comes on late night local TV.

I like the guy because he comes off as the average yankee hunter/fisherman that gets to go on these amazing trips.

He wasn’t real polished but he was ok. The hunting shows these days are all steroidal stressed out fashion hounds and hucksters. All about killing that trophy. Not about nature or sportsmanship. . I remember The American Sportsman when I was a kid and it was a great show. Buck was able to convince real TV stations ti broadcast him and only way we can change minds and recruit future hunters is to reach those who don’t already hunt or are borderline.

Not talking about the man, never met him and I'm sure he was a good guy dipshit. I'm talking about his and other outdoor shows.

Well, this sucks. I liked how he would always try to tell the guides what to do

RIP, Buck!

Yeah back when we only had 3 channels he was good to watch. It was his show or the other one that was out of Lafayette. Ol boy had a red 4-runner (old) and an aggravating arse wife.. Can't remember the name..
