Planning a trip next year to Bristol to meet with my old military buddies. Has anyone ever been? Where are some good bars and resteraunts? We're all around 30.

My sister used to live in Bristol, TN. Sullivan County is dry. She used to have to go to state-run ABC stores to buy alcohol. I can't remember if those were in Virginia or Tennessee, though.

Been to many different Nascar races. Bristol at night is awesome. Not much of a night life there tho. The track is in the mountains. Great scenery. We stayed in Knoxville and drove in on raceday

This for sure, it was the first race I've been to and I've been to 5 other tracks since and it's still the best race so far for me.

When you go to Bristol be sure to bring over the ear muffs or race scanner headset. It is unbelievable how loud it is. You will not be able to talk during the race. If you are sitting close to the track you need to wear some kind of glasses because the rubber from the tires really gets up in the air and starts swirling. It is a really cool place to watch a race though.

My race at Bristol u was in second row between turn 4 and finish. It was incredible. Black marks on my face from the tires and the noise was awesomely loud. Leaves a rumbling in your chest.
