well said! it is frustrating, but its the closest ive ever been to a deer, i did learn a lot just in a couple of minute period, and i dont think the rush of being that close can be duplicated.

Its frustrating and very rewarding at the same time

Alot of good advice already

My two cents.
From yrs if experience, on relatively flat ground The bottom of my climber us usually right at 25ft

Take some nearby leafy branches from nearby trees and stick them in the end holes of your climber. This works really well with Summits especially

Tie your backpacking straps up to the bottom of your stand. Any swinging from these in the wind will catch a deers attention

Try to set up your climber on the backside of a tree on sunny mornings/ afternoons. I use the shade from the tree Im in this way to help cover my movement drawing. Of course not COMPLETELY on the backside. Angle a bit to get your preferred draw situation regarding where u expect the deer to come from

I hunt 85% of the time from a standing position. It allows you to reposition faster as well as is a more vertical appearance helping you hide in background cover better.
Also helps make drawing easier. To ease strain on my arm I usually have my climber set up so that bottom bow limb rests on a cushioned piece of hand climber. Just make sure its not too high and interferes with the bowshot

Stick with it and it will happen for you and just remember to pick out a patch if hair as your aimpoint.
Aim small.... Miss small. :)
