A little shocked to see a no peep user in here. I'm a big proponent of the no peep setup. It works. FYI - Timberline no longer makes the no peep, therefore you can only find used ones out there.

This is the same thing, although it's an improved version of the Timberline no peep: LINK

The idea behind the Anchor Sight/No peep is that

1. You can get rid of the peep sight for good.

2. You can anchor where ever it feels natural for you, then set the anchor sight to be in the center of the circle at your natural anchor.

3. With a consistent anchor, and the dot lining up within the circle, you are guaranteed to be consistent.

Are you my brother? He's left more screw in hooks in the trees than he's taken out I think

sometimes i'll go back and climb a tree before daylight that i climbed earlier in the year or even the year before, set my climber and go to screw a holder in and there would already be one, (mine)....

I've never used a wrist sling. What purpose does it serve?

When I used to use an open grip, the bow would come out of my hand. I have had a bow land on concrete before.

I've come close to dropping it before. My grip sucks though. Or should I say my method of grip is inconsistent and sucky. I need practice.

I guess I see the point of it.

Bear's grips are kind of sucky. It helps me to keep a looser grip without worrying about dropping it.

My new Hoyt doesn't jump forward enough to require using a sling and my old one doesn't either since I added a string stop. My theory is the string stop eliminates the forward momentum.

I could probably take mine off. I could probably never use an arm guard again too. Chances are, I'll keep using both for no reason.

Yea, the grip on my bear isn't really a grip. Just a skinny flat part of the riser. The slings that come with them feel pretty shitty. Maybe I should stick one on there and try it out.

Old habits die hard. Probably why I will continue to use a peep sight too.

Love my no peep..much brighter so allows me to stay out in low light. Helps to minimize torque and form problems. Takes weight off the string. Downside is increases overall bow weight/$cost/time to set it up

I want/need a new sight, but will not buy one because I dread having to set up the No-peep again. It can be a frustrating process.
