PSE BRUTE

I shot this one and a few other a while back and really liked it. I've hunted before with some friends bows and looking to get back into it. What do yall think of this package? Mostly hunting White tails and also looking if I want to step it up on any bigger game. Thanks I'll hang up and listen.

For that price. I'd go with a bear. Best bow for your buck IMO. (quality/price)

I also looked at this one and liked it too. Didn't get a chance to shoot the Bears.

Either diamond or bow tech is made in Louisiana. Don't know if that'll affect your decision

Not a fan of PSE in general, but that looks like a nice bow

This looks like an awesome deal at Cabela's:

Parker Blazer Outfitter Package

But the PSE Brute is a good bow too. I think the above deal is better bang for your buck though.

Is doesn't matter what anyone on this board's opinion is of a bow. It's not like a pair of boots or a rifle scope. A bow feels different to everyone. I have a friend who shoots PSE & thinks its the smoothest, silent bow out there. When I shoot it, I hate the draw cycle & the backwall.

Point is, dont get caught up in what anyone else thinks. Go shoot as many bows as you can inside your budgett & buy whatever feels best to you. That is the only way to get what is best for you personally!

BTW, I shoot a Bowtech Destroyer 350 & a Diamond Black Ice. I am not a fan boy of any name, just a feel!

Diamond makes a goood bow. Used to shoot one about 7 years ago when they were made in Bossier City. They are now owned by bowtech. I currently shoot a bowtech and love it. My first bow ever was a PSE. Like some other posters have said its personal preference but dont think you can go wrong with either, also going to your local pro shop and getting one used is what I would recommend. A lot of people change bows every couple years and you can get a top of the line bow thats a few years old for a good price.

I went and spent some good time at Bass pro shooting. Shot the Diamond, PSE, and the Redhead. I liked the redhead the least and concentrated on the PSE and Diamond. Haven't gotten to shoot the Bear yet. I'm looking to see if anyone has these bows and any durability issues and any upgrades that might need to be done to them. Thanks for all the advice.

I would shoot a Diamond Black Ice & if you like it, look online & as mentioned before @ local bow shops for a used bow. Even though my Bowtech is much faster & has more KE, the Black Ice is a dream to shoot & I can not make myself part with it. You can find good deals on Ebay.

As Fetch says, shoot it. Don't buy a bow you haven't shot, no matter how good it looks, or how cheap it is. When purchasing, I shot a Diamond and a Matthews side by side, and both were great, but the MQ1 felt better to me. You may love or hate that bow.

Fetch just hooked you up with some solid advice. I also agree with Hat. Bear kind of got a bad name back in the day for making cheap bows, but don't get caught up in that shite. The BEST shooting bow I have ever had was a Jennings Uniforce, which was made by Bear. I really like their new bows.

Holy shite. Dude, that thing could explode at any minute and destroy your arm! (according to the OB bow masters) I would get rid of that thing ASAP!

Heck no. Since I have no lease, and am a late rut hunter, I don't even start shooting until then. Still searching for a local place so I can hunt the November rut and the river stuff.

Go to red dirt. Find some post oaks. Bring plenty of arrows. You're welcome.
