I appreciate the recommendation. You were spot on with the scope, now give me a suggestion for a .22 to kill varmints. Are AR 22s any good?

LINK

And the price keeps going down. I don’t think you can beat it for $1095.

Nice! How does that compare to the thermion 2 LRF xq50, if you're familiar. Thinking about pulling the trigger on one.

one is pulsars top top scope and the other is the "weakest" of the thermion line

XL60: 1024 resolution 12 micron sensor, 20mk sensor, 60mm objective lens. higher resolution display screen at the eye

XQ60: 384 resolution 17 micron sensor, 18mk sensor,50mm objective lens: lower resolution display at the eye

ideally, you want the highest resolution, lowest micron and lowest mk sensor. The 1024 resolution is not even comparable to the 384.

The XQ thermion is better than most 384 scopes but its still 384 resolution. (i suggest 640 resolution if you can justify it). A 17 micron sensor isnt my favorite.

The trail 3 XQ50 will have a better (newer) 384, 17 micron sensor and better display screen + a 15 mk sensor. i think is the same price of the xq thermion (id imagine they are phasing out the XQ thermion)
