Apologies if this has been asked before, but I am having my bachelor party near Negreet, south of La 6 and La 191 at camp on the lake. Some of us would like to rent a bass boat. Something to hold approximately 3-4 guys. We plan on renting a party barge for all 10 of us another day. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on rentals? All help and suggestions are appreciated.

What time we need to be there?

Sorry, I have no other input.

Turtle beach has a couple 17' aluminum boats for rent. They're nothing nice, but they'll work for what you need.

Check out Alpine Marina, its on the TX side but I believe they rent both bass boats and pontoon boats.

You’d be better off fishing with a guide then renting a fishing boat. Financially it just doesn’t make sense for anyone to rent out fishing boats, because guides are $450-600/ day. It would be that much for a bass boat.

Eta: this is just general advice not specific to Toledo Bend. But I’d consider that. The difference in price between a guide and a fishing boat is generally very small.

Honestly, it'll cost almost as much to rent a boat as to hire a guide. Wildwood resort used to have some boats for rent, I'm not sure if they still do.
