Finally seeing prices in boats coming down. There is a real nice frontier at lake area marine right now. Scroll down to the first boat

Still way too expensive for a frontier imo. Lots of solid used units around as well.

That boat has same colors as my old frontier, good looking rig

I loved my frontier but compared to a 2200 pure bay, the blue wave has way more features like fish boxes and better rod storage. The rod storage on the frontier was awful.

For a 21’ boat it was super nice tho.

Go look at both and compare them and what you must have, they both ride fantastic.

It’s like a test you have to pass to own one, must need trim tabs to stand on one side of the boat.

It’s ridiculous, the fat pandemic in America is bad enough and then it’s amplified by people who own blue waves.

I have a Blue Wave 2200. It’s a solid boat for its price point. It is very stable and extremely capable. I bought mine new in 2011 and I have never had any major issues. Still running it to this day and slaying the fish. Yes, Blue Wave went out of business. Apparently the big company that bought out the Parks family ran the company into the ground.

I would not shy away from a used one but with that being said I would not consider a new Blue Wave when up against another similar boat that will have a warranty and factory support.

As far as layouts, the frontier and blue wave are very similar but would give a slight edge to Bluewave. I shopped them both before I bought mine.

Hey I even offered to bring some OBers out fishing with me this summer. No one took me up on the offer. Had a limit by 8:30.

Grand isle in the summer, sometimes Hopedale.

Dularge and Hopedale in the winter. Sometimes Leeville.
