It before has been a hit and miss with them for game cameras. Probably why they are so cheap.

Better to use a solar pane or 9v batteries

Danco is having a 50% off sale + free shipping on their website for cyber monday. Their pliers and fillet knives have been great. Need some odds and ends for the boat so likely ordering a lip gripper, baitwell net, and hook cutters.

I got this at Marks in Birmingham for $234.99 - 20%

https://www.benchmade.com/products/535bk-4-the-bugout?

It is the Benchmade Bugout with aluminum handle. It is ridiculously lightweight and feels great in the hand. I’ve been looking at it for some time and I couldn’t pass it up at that price.

Primary Arms as the Steiner MPS 3.3 MOA FDE on sale for $369.99. Good deal if you're looking for a closed emitter red dot. This is the second gen model.

I don't feel like starting a thread, this is kind of a shopping thread. I'm looking for recommendation:

1. Another sling - don't love the one I have, but going with the boy now we need 2 anyway. What is best/easy?

2. New gutting/cleaning (deer) knife. I like my Buck, but I need a 2nd one for when the wife and I quarter things up. The Cutco one I have needs to be sent off to resharpen (serrated, worked great when it was sharp but annoying now). I loved the gut hook on that one when it was sharp, would be nice to have one with that.

Definitely agree with you on the knife. I like the 6" dexters as well. We have 10 or 15 at the hunting camp. Going to try the sling. Thx

I bought that EOTECH that I liked on page one. Hope it’s goo

Holy crap this thing is nice! Feels like $1,000 in your hand. Clamped it on with no problems and it seems like it’s ready to roll. You can truly aim with both eyes open and quickly find your target. Put the donut of death on the target and it’s toast.

I usually have buyers remorse with just about everything….. not this time.
