Has the fishing been any good lately? Looking to set up a trip in the next 1-2 weeks.

If we don't get a deluge of rain this week the water will continue to green up. Salinity is >5 @ eye ten so there is plenty salt to support fish north. Crickets are your friend, so don't leave the dock without them (spicers). Fish the usual spots for spring pp or anchored down, slow down for best results. Give the white kenner with a name on the side 250 yds leeway.

Looks like it’s going to be rainy and windy the next few days. Hopefully it’ll get right for next weekend.

Caught 14 trout in West Cove friday on softdines, only 4 on saturday. Water looked great everywhere we went, not sure what this last front did to it.

Yesterday I heard the trout were very hard to find but I saw a nice pic with a bunch of flounder.

5”+ at Hebert’s this morning with more coming. Tides will move it out of lake quick like but north of lake is done for a couple weeks.

My uncle who lives right by Prien Lake Park said they got 8”-9” this morning. I guess it’ll get right for mid-May

But the new boat ramps opened at noon today, no mo jacked up trailer when trying to launch and pick up. The methheads and booty calls won't track gravels into those rides anymo. Can launch six at one time so three should be doable with all the retards with boats in LC.

Fished the lake Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. Avoided the rain all over the lake and ship channel Monday, caught two catfish. Sucked. Headed out at dawn yesterday and got on to some specs at the old jetties with a 32" red fish along with the other characters like black drum, sheepshead, catfish, and stingrays. Live skrimp.

We all know you drop anchor and tight line them dead skrimps on a jig head. You don’t have to lie to us
