Prices are outrageous compared to 2 years ago. I'm convinced there's a lot of sites that simply don't want to sell shotgun shells by the the prices they advertise.

I hope that once we get through this season, prices will fall back to (somewhat) normal levels. The supply is definitely a lot better. If it doesn’t get depleted after the rush when big duck opens, we may see prices fall before the season is over.

I think the best time to buy was last month though. I found what I needed with fiocchi for $16/box… and they had some NSI for $15/box as well at Scheels. I’ve never shot either one of those brands, but the reviews were good.

I’ve always had luck ordering from Simmons in Bastrop. Good prices too.

I shot a few boxes of NSI and a case of Fiocchi last season. Both shot well. Will probably buy one or other again for this season.
