It's a compact gun (slightly smaller than the Kimber if you get the 85FS iirc). I carry mine in an ankle holster. If you are looking solely to carry then a Ruger LCR (LOOOONG trigger pull though) may be the way to go.

I always liked revolvers too. Back in teh day though (no clue how he did it) dad shot himself with the one he has today while he was cleaning it. I'm guessing he was loaded or high or something but to this day he's never admitted such. Haha smartest guy I know, totally doesn't sound like him but said there were chunks of meat on the ceiling and had to hold his hand out the window on the way to the hospital. (how do you shoot yourself cleaning a revolver??)
Said blood was spewing to his heart beat all over the place and to this day cringes when he thinks about the HEAT of how hot it felt. Never really talks about the pain, just the HEAT of it and the ringing of his ears?? Anyway this one looks cool, and the girlfriend would have fun with it

Smith & Wesson M&P40 compact at cheaperthandirt.com

Whatever you find that you're interested in on Bud's, check on cheaperthandirt.com to see if they have it, too. Usually a lower price if available.

Why yall hatin on Jims? I've delt with them and they are respectable, prices may be high, though.
Everyone I know says Heberts is a bunch of a$$e$$, though. Academy is best if they have what you want.

Check out gunbroker.com You can get a good deal there sometimes. Also City Pawn on Florida just east of BRCC is 10 or 15$ for a transfer. Cheapest I have seen for a transfer
