The problem is the gun has no sites.
The sites are pretty terrible on the LCP

I'm pretty sure i'm going buy an LCP today, i've got the itch. Theres one with a stainless slide at academy that looks pretty sharp.

While I agree for concealment purposes I would prefer the black...no reason to be flashy with a concealment piece.

But to each his own they are good looking...

I carry both the Kahr Pm9 and the Ruger LCP...

I love both of them. The Ruger actually packs a lot more punch than you would think (with the right ammo). I do carry it by itself sometimes. I keep it in a pocket holster on my back right pocket and it is so comfortable I will forget I have it on.

Hornady critical defense. Chances are academy won't have any jhp for a 380 so you will have to hit some local places.

Buffalo Bore

Supposedly those 100 gr hard nose are the best self-defense .380 rounds, but I don't think the LCP is rated for them.

I like that lil ruger revolver. I would take a 38+P over a 9mm, and I'm a MAJOR fan of revolvers. Semi-auto pistols don't excite me much, since I don't like trusting my life to whoever put the primer on that bullet in the chamber. If it doesn't go bang the first pull, I wanna be able to just pull it again.

I understand what you are saying here but what happens to your wheel gun when there is a big wad of lint or a dime between the wheel and the frame?

Back on subject, just about any of the single stack 9mm's work for me.

Inside Jacket Pocket- Colt Gov. .380
Outside Jacket Pocket- Ruger LCP .380
Inside pants pocket- Derringer .22 mag
Most accurate- Walther P-22 .22 cal 5" barrel
Loudest- Baretta PX4 Storm .9mm
Peacemaker - Colt .45

I would love to get the Colt Gov. .380 (used to carry one)but they want over a grand for the cheapest one I've found used.

cant go wrong with a S&W j-frame hamerless revolver. especially if you're wanting to carry in a jacket pocket.

I saw that... I'm verrrry tempted to get one as a nightstand gun but will not spend over a grand on a revolver. I'll wait for ruger to put their model out for around 6

Went to Barney's and shot around 75 rounds. Surprisingly accurate but way more snap that I expected, not easy on the hands and definitely not something I would wanna take to the range often but great for a pocket carry gun.

One complaint I have is the take down pin, I've never had a gun that had this.. Kind of a pain in the arse.
