Best bass bait for muddy water/overcast skies?

Heading up to St. Francisville tomorrow morning for a weekend of hopefully rippin lips. I'm expecting the water to be dirty, and cloudy/overcast skies throughout the weekend. Rat-l-trap? Soft plastics? Spinner baits? Any advice on color combo? TIA

Not sure where you'll be fishing but I have a lot of success on brown and orange skirt spinners with big blades in muddy ponds

Lot of variables. How muddy is it and what color.
Char/White spinnerbait, Char Crankbait, Flipping black red flake tube or craw colored crawworm, orange and white gold blade spinnerbait, Char pepper lizard, Rattle trap in a neutral blue or bone color or if there's any visibility a rootbeer trap works good in stained water.
There are many combos just try a few and see what they like. If it's too bad I would try somewhere else.

Didn't get a whole lot of rain up here so far today so water shouldn't be too muddy. Been cool though so not sure if the fish have moved very shallow
