As an admitted beretta fan boy, I can readily acknowledge this observation; it really does seem heavy and bulky on the fore end compared to the SBE (or an 870) which have very little fore end stock or components. Think I like the fit because I also have an older AL390 and have longer arms so like the longer fore grips. That said, I like the lightweight of say, an M2 and have considered adding one to the collection.

I'm assuming you feel the same way about the Winchester SX3 since it's essentially the same gun in different clothing.
