A few pics of a bear enjoying the feeder at our place in Newellton. Please ignore the date stamp on the Moultrie, my uncle doesn’t update it. You can tell by the temperature that this was recent.

I heard they don’t like soy beans. Try that

I can't put feeders at my place. Bears destroy them.

Old man sent me this last night. Had to do q double take at the top of the feeder. Apparently the sides have been armored now as well

Soy beans are the solution. I hunt south of Tallulah and it’s all I feed now. Bears don’t mess with it. Go find a local farmer who’s cutting beans and buy some off of him in a tote or something

Have to do anything to the beans?

I've heard stuff about beans swelling too much and causing problems for animals. Maybe just birds?

I cut a plastic drum in half as a trough. Collects rain water and turns the beans “sour”. They deer love it

This was at the feeder behind my house (my property is connected to 10,000 acre state forest). I know most folks don’t think of Florida being wild but I have bear, bobcats, coyotes, and even a panther right out my door.

Wow! that's cool they have bears there now, i was born and raised there and there weren't any back then. I will agree it though it does suck they are messing up the feeders.
What property's are you all hunting ? when i was a kid living there we hunted Buckhorn.

It’s our own family property called Buddy’s Hunting Club. We border Somerset to the southeast.

Parts of the panhandle are loaded with them. Are you around Blackwater?

Nope, I’m just outside of Orlando. I can be at UCF in 15 minutes from here.
