Anyone had a chance to fish any since the water started falling? Was wanting to make a quick trip if rain holds off.

Smoked them this morning. Still can't find the 3 pounders but i'm on the dinks.

Any updates to this thread? Is the water decent right now for fishin? Never been there but would like to try this weekend. Any recent reports?

I heard yesterday there was a tournament this past week or so and 1st was approx. 18lbs and 2nd was 17lbs....sounds like it's still on.

I'm still hearing people are wearing out the 10"-11"ers and filling ice chests

18# was weighed, but I'm pretty sure it didn't come from Bayou Black.

Schooling dinks are always on in the summer months.

Are those legal keepers out there? I wouldn't keep bass that small. Thanks for the info.

1.5# and under? Sheeeeeee those little 9-12" bundles of sweet meat joy is all I keep when looking for a meal of bass.

There was/still may be a size limit on the Verret and spillway side of the Atchfalaya. Can't recall.

Nope. 10 fish limit, no size.
