What I was hearing was the canals on south end and Blind River spillway. Moving water = fish

I'll one up em all and me and Bourgs will bring you on morning duck hunts in welsh then go fish big lake... Guy we lease from and share a camp with has his boat in a slip at spicey's

Would gladly take Bourg, he's always been decent to me. You are welcome to follow, but Spicer's is a good ride away from 210.

Should also mention for anyone else. Not taking anyone that I have to babysit, never fished before, has trouble jumping off the landing in my boat.

Well I got rained out after 15 minutes....only able to put one in the boat. Did some good scouting of the area though. Across the levee Lake Dauterive is some nice clean water, and if you put in on Benoit above the locks someone at the dock said the fishing was very good.

We fished on the south end of Verret, pretty much on large canals.

Mostly targeted bream and goggleye. Didn't do worth a damn.

Got wet 10 minutes in, broke the prop on trolling motor, and had a good time. Fish in the boat would've really been cool.

Frustrating to fish such a beautiful lake with so much life and not catch fish.

I've had many more days like that than I can count. Still beats a day at work. Only thing you can do after a tough day of fishing is be thankful that you even have the opportunity to be out there

That's a fact.

Going to Italy tomorrow for a 2 week vacation, and those stinking fish can relax for a fortnight.

Where do you buy Motorguide parts?

I just started saltwater fishing this year and so far that has been limited to Big Lake. I am able to fish much easier during the week but like you have a hard time finding someone else who can.I am also more than willing to pay my fair share.I can go almost any weekday with a couple days notice.

Where do you live? Do you own a boat? Are you handicapped? Are you a serial killer? Do you have beer?

I live about 30 mins west of you. I do rep work for a company so I set my own schedule for the most part. Don't own a boat yet but will be purchasing one next year. Not handi-capped in anyway just a guy that likes to fish that doesn't have a boat. I can provide you with the hook up on some quality fishing products as well. Beer is in good supply
