Bad experiences from non-tourney anglers is the norm. When so much cash is riding on the line and major ego's to feed you can expect it. I've seen a number of fights over this precise thing at ramps.

I call bullshite.......

When I use to fish Venice a lot these assholes would give you zero quarter and thought they owned all spots and all the water.

But I guess I've mellowed in my old age. I use to call all of them BBA's (bass boat assholes).

Now, just the ones that piss me off get that moniker.

Never had a problem with bass fishermen, it was the damned water skiers.

This. We had a water skier and his tow boat go wide open between us and the bank while we were throwin worms. Guy I was with cranked up his 200 Johnson, caught up with em, and cast a ZaraSpook in front of the skier and across his tow line. Spook got caught on the ski rope and broke off, but those guys left the area and didn't bother us anymore.

They need to learn their place in the pecking order of the outdoor world.

Def alot of good ones out there. And money is no excuse to be an a-hole, especially no more money than 40 boats would generate.
I know serveral great guys that own rangers, but I swear when I'm on he water, everyone I see is an a-hole. Something about the ones I pass. I swear none of them wave or speak when I see them.
Skiers are the worst, I guess because some haven't been on the water enough to even have any business driving. Much less hauling and towing others.

How do you get pulled over on the water?
One time we was riding around Caney & green jeans turned his lights on us. The wife looked at me & said pull over.

Same as land. law-dog in a bat boat with T-tops and flashing lights. he was nice about it, but it pissed me off because

he knew the guy I drove by
I did not get that close to him
He was showing out for my friend and did not realize he was my friend.

I'll give him the clockwise thing. I'm new to pulling people, but this lake has no posted rules like some do.
