Do all young eagles react the way this one does to fish brought to the nest?

Not that I have seen. My viewing experience with eaglets is probably limited to a few dozen over the last few years since I discovered the cams. But I have never seen one scream that much. It even does it when it flies.

It finally has happened both eaglets have fledged. The first baby took flight on June 2nd, and the other took off today at 8:27.

They used to have a breeding pair off pine island in Vancleave when I was growing up. They were beautiful birds. I had one last year that I sear was waiting on us to catch a fish in Mobile Bay.

Some duck hunters came in as were getting out and said you guys aren’t going to believe this but we shot a duck and before the dog could get it, a bald eagle swooped down and stole our duck. We said we totally believed it because he sat on us for 30 minutes waiting on a throw back trout.

I've got a sparrow hawk (don't know the actual name) nest in my yard and I watch them daily. They're both about twelve inches tall with 24" inch wing spans, and light grey. I haven't seen any young but they must have them. They breed every morning in a different tree than the nest and then fly to separate trees to watch for prey. I've never seen them dive for a squirrel (I've got a lot) but they dip down several times, I assume looking for mice.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Very neat to watch.

Been following it online, it has been pretty cool watching them grow up. If the third eaglet had survived, that nest would have been really crowded. It was tight for the two when they got big and were stretching their wings.

Sounds like one of the acceptors(Cooper's or Sharp Shinned) but sharpies don't breed here I don't think. Could also be broad-winged.

I assume they're breeding. One flies over to the other at the very top of the tree and they flop around on each other for about ten seconds before the bigger one flies back to his tree.

Seems to be a little controversy with the young eagles possibly being ran off by fireworks.
