I used to only bring melt but I'll be dam if they don't seem to like the leg quarters better. Seems like the blood from the melt would be irresistible.

I was down in Rockefeller last week and everyone seemed to be doing pretty well. Nice sized crabs

Some will say use fish heads etc. but i would not use them if your wading as it will generally attract an butt load of sharks. I'm not a fan of having them swarming around me feet

I missed it.

I was hoping not to have to haul a boat. I'm stupid cause I worry so much about bearings when I go farther than 30 minutes from home.

It seems like there should be some good places south of lafayette by boat, yes? I was thinking about that earlier.
