I work with a guy who fishes nothing but a small private lake and he thinks he could join the Bassmasters tour.

I know a guy in TX, near Lake Fork, he has a 20+ acre pond/ lake. I would classify that as a lake. Entire thing is man made, also has his own 18 hole golf course on his property.

Now FIL's pond, def high fence fishing there, not for bass though. He put them in too late I think, I dont think many survivied with the perch and cat population.

Well, I guess I fish a 500 acre pond. No significant body of water flows into it.

Nothing wrong with fishing a private pond. Great tool for inexperienced anglers to gain some fishing knowledge. I like to bring women and children fishing in them, because its easy for them to catch fish.
