When jogging, hiking or riding a bike for example?

"Belly Pack" Review.

"Fanny Pack" YouTube

Yeah, maybe not the coolest of looks, but very functional looking if you have to carry gun, keys, wallet phones etc. Hard to carry all that shite otherwise.

Examples

I conceal in a jansport fanny pack when I'm walking the dog or cycling. I have a gun hide pocket holster sewed in to it that fits a Ruger ec9s perfectly. I look like a super nerd.

The fanny pack holsters made for a gun look like they are made for a gun.

I have a regular old Jansport I will sometimes use to carry a gun, depending on the situation.

I regularly run with this model the PT-2 band:

Highly recommend.

ETA: it’s completely invisible under a tshirt.

For working out outdoors, usually walking/hiking, I use a silk custom kydex iwb holster with the ulticlip to good effect. Carrying either an m&p shield or kahr.

No reason to ever get a fanny pack, and I’m not that skinny.

I wanted one for hunting public land instead a backpack that had to be dismounted to get anything out of. In the process of research hip packs, I found so many reviews saying they slide down with any significant weight and movement, to get one with a shoulder strap. So I figured if it really needs a shoulder strap anyway, then just get a shoulder bag. So that's what I did, and am happy. They make all sorts of tactical and camo etc. Man purse full of man shite like ammo and blades and maybe a small dead animal.

Just buy a Kenai Chest Holster and carry your other shite in a day pack or regular fanny pack, etc. Below is a stock image from Google of the Kenai chest holster or, more accurately, "tanker" type holster. I have one and I love it. I wear it several days a week when out working, especially in the winter. It doesn't move a lick and stays put. You could (you can, because I have) split firewood while carrying your sidearm in the Kenai and it would not get in the way; let alone hiking, riding a bike, etc. A bellypack/ fanny pack type holster always seemed to me to be one of those things that was "okay" at multiple things and good at nothing. There's too much "splitting of the difference" to get specialized use of it, but I could be wrong, as I frequently am. I haven't looked at other options in quite some time because I found what I needed in the Kenai.

They're not dirt cheap, but they're American made and top of the line in quality and customer service.

As long as you know that it's not really concealment in the sense that everybody pretty much knows you're carrying.

I use a SOB holster For just about everything. Inconspicuous and extremely reliable.
