People are still remodeling from the flood. Also it’s busy season for contractors building houses and remodels. The cheapest is DIY.

Either hardware store, or find some high schoolers. I was willing to do anything (not sexual) for money when I was younger

If the Hispanics in B.R. are anything like the ones in N.O., they will work hard for that money. You can find decent painters, but the real job is in the prep work.
If prep work isn't done right, you can put $500 a gallon paint on a house and it will look like shite in a few years. That is the meat of the job, and the hardest part. Painting is the easiest part.
