I found 4 lbs of N550 powder I bought during all the craziness and never used it. Seems to be a little faster burning than H4350 but not a lot of data out there. I found a deal on some 100 grain Hornady CX bullets for my .270 and would like to use this powder for those bullets. Anyone here care to run the numbers for me ?

Download Gordon Reloading Tool. It's the same thing and it's been updated to 2021. The guy that wrote it died a couple years ago but there's people on Discord trying to keep it updated.

I can run it. Some key inputs needed if you want accurate outputs:

1. What’s your COL (cartridge overall length)?
2. Barrel length?
3. Fired case water capacity (grains of water)?

It can be run without these parameters but will be much more accurate with them.

Just my opinion with 30+ years of reloading experience, if the data is not published in the Vitavhouri or other reloading databases, it’s not with the risk. Trade a few lbs. of N550 to someone who could use it for their rifle cartridge. It’s very possible the N550 won’t give you the velocity or weight grs. Needed for optimum accuracy and efficiency,
