Small deer born heaters work great also. Will run on a five gallon bottle for a little while. You can up grade to a bigger bottle if you want. We got a 25 gallon bottle on ours and it will last a deer season for sure

I have a small one for my shop. I think 18k btu. I use the Kleen Heat from Lowe’s. It’s a little more expensive but not much smell.

Figure out the wick system and have one on standby. You don’t want to be figuring out how to change it in 20 degree weather

Just what this man said. We had one and it worked well. But you have to have the wick just right.

Eventually went back to propane. Personally found it easier and cleaner.

I have a Sengoku 10k BTU radiant heater, works great and still on the original wick since 2014. I use KeroKlean religiously, masks the slight odor well and is definitely keeping the wick clean.
