NuCanoe is far superior to a canoe. Much more stable and tracks true.

And weighs more, costs more and carries less. Assuming you can stand in it, could be the only advantage.

Weight is not a factor after it's in the water. It's slick and IMO just as paddle responsive as a canoe, and tracks much better.

As for cost, it's just Federal Reserve Notes.

It's a fishing vessel, it will carry anything you need as a fishing platform, Yak wise.

Standing in it. I'll give that, at least as it applies to me. I'm 66 years old, I ain't about to try and stand up in it. It has a narrow sweet spot that will dump someone my size PDQ. I could do it if there was money involved though.
