I know they got a bunch of bad reviews during/after the 2016 hunting season but heard they made some improvements.
How did the 2017 version hold up?

Really wish these things were more reliable, seems like a great idea.

In other news, I’m about to purchase another Higdon XS Pulsator. Those things are magical.

I bought some, they were good for the first few duck hunts then 2 of them stopped working.

I used them for dove season and they worked great. Will probably only use them for dove season from now on.

I have some. Ok to good on the attraction.Problem is it feels like one of them broke on every hunt. I noticed they would cause birds in the distance to turn and come take a look, but not really make them dive. The ydo make distant birds curious though.

Now, when I added a spreader jerk string and hid a mojo in the bushes/trees. They dive bomb kamikaze that shite.

Same. At the end of the season all but one of mine got water in them and stopped working. I won't buy them again for duck hunting.

That's a great idea. I may steal this.

I've made my own version of these, have remote control, internal battery, auto-timer and everything. Saves a little money if you want to try it yourself.

Love them. I used them all season with any problems. Checked them a month ago and they all work.

they held up for me, but I took them out of he water and hung them up out of the weather after each hunt. We put some lead tape on a couple of them so they would ripple the water a little on calm days.

gonna try them for doves based on everyone's comments and see how it goes.
