Sometimes JD was nice on the phone, but lots of times he wasn't, just like you experienced. OTOH, he really did a lot to advance handgun hunting. The 6.5 JDJ was my main handgun hunting round for 25 years or so. I used it to kill prairie dogs, Whitehall Deer, Mule Deer and a turkey. It's a fine round. I still have mine, but haven't used it a number of years. Do you still have yours?
