It's a perfectly fine pipeline caliber as well. It doesn't shoot laser flat but it will kill them as far as you can hit them. Most people aren't missing shots at 400 yards because the bullet has 10" more drop than a 26 nosler.

I have the CVA Apex in .35 Whelen.
I use it pretty much every hunt that I don't have a bow in my hands.

My kids have a 7mm-08 that I have used.
My son got a 25-06 last year for Christmas... I may try that out this year too.

I know a handful that use it for a all season gun. It’ll put them down for sure.

As for all the complaints about the kick.... My dad has a shoulder that’s shot and my good friends sister both shoot them without a hiccup. Neither of their guns have breaks either. To each their own I guess.

Paid more for the scope than the gun.
Killed many deer with it.
