The interior looks great and the body in the last pic looks warm and receptive, Nice find on both camper and friend.

Any tips or warnings? Should I go retro and just restore it or pimp it out?

Retro look will really stand out. I saw an Airstream trailer on my trip to Jersey last month and it really brought back the memories. When I was a kid and taking family vacations in the 70s, they had a good percentage of the market and I really liked the look, especially of the full RVs. Most of them are probably gone, but I'm happy to see there is a community for the camper trailers.

Good times...

if i had one, i'd gut it completely and put a full size bed in there on one end and storage on the other end, those kitchens and tables and stuff i'd just get rid of.use it just for sleeping and gear.

I'm looking for one either all ready gutted or in terrible shape inside to do this with. This one was in too good of shape. Those cabinets are solid wood. No particle board. All equipment functions. The thing is built like a tank. It's about 8,000 lbs.

I'll post pics as we go.

You're gonna want a van to haul it with.

Perhaps! Would definitely add some character to it.
