That's the truth. I fished Choke Canyon a couple of times. Not much night life around there.

Choke Canyon is a sad sight now. Basically a puddle compared to what it used to be. No idea if this is true, but some guy down there told me it's the farthest place (lake?) west you can find gators. There are/were some monsters in that lake.

Why is that? I would have thought with what seemed like decent precipitation the last few years, water in that lake would not be an issue
