Interested in this too. Loaded a 286 lb deer on my 4wheeler by myself a few years ago, and realize there’s no way I’m doing that with my ranger. Prob have to add it to the roof, tilt the bed and load. But would like to hear how others do it.

We use this. Although not this exact brand or model. It works great. Crank the winch, then it swivels around to put it in the bed

I would love to as well...This was in Mississippi though, woodville area.

ETA: lots of ibuprofen and a few scotches helped ease my pains after that brute.

I just use a hitch haul. Roll deer on, 2 bungees, and off to the races

Yes I do have a winch over my bed on my Ranger. I posted a pic in the "things you built thread". I've winched a hog in that was over 300 pounds.

I've taken my winch cable and ran it over the roof of my Rhino. Tilt the bed down attach animal to winch cable and winch into the bed. The roof on my Rhino is metal so this helps.
Otherwise get a cargo carrier as suggested in other post.

I'd get a boat trailer winch and rig it on a bracket on the back of the roll cage. Good cheap solution.

Look into Great Day deer lift. Made in Louisiana.

Most members in my club have them mounted on the rear racks of their sxs. I use a cargo hauler mounted in my hitch and have no issues getting 220 lb deer and hogs on it. Much easier than trying to get it into the bed of the bike and works well in the summer to carry an ice chest when the back seats are up on my pioneer.
