I won’t be worried at all. I bought an older bay boat with 75 hours on the engine. Now the engine was newer than the boat but it belonged to an older gentleman that couldn’t fish anymore bc of age and health.

I maybe have put 20-30hrs on it mostly going to a buddies duck camp. With 3 kids in sports really don’t get to fish much. Mostly use it to crab when we do have free time.

Ask around about parts availability on those Verados.

Oh no doubt. Put plenty stress time in on a couple old merc 2 strokes over the years. I'm always impressed at how much I can push my little F115. Not to mention being able to hear yourself think while running.

I have a 2017 60HP Mercury Tiller with less than 25 hours on it total and I use it a LOT....I put the boat in the water, run a couple of miles, drop the trolling motor and fish. Other than going offshore or skiing / tubing / trolling with the big motor putting hours on an outboard is not something most people do fishing only.
