I used to have a gator tail boat with (4) 8" bazooka marine speakers and a 1400 watt four channel amp and would crank it for a long time and never had any issues with the motor turning over. You would probably be good with the one battery. I would get one of those battery jumpers you charge if you are worried about it.

Get a switch and Get a stereo installer to do it. I started stuff like this a few times and always get pissed off, can’t get wires to through hull spots etc abs end up getting a stereo place to do it.

it used to be like 75 bucks or so. it’s not hard but you often need some specialized tools

Not hard. Get a Perko switch so you can isolate and combine batteries as needed. Note you should only combine when your motor battery is dead and you need the house battery to help out.

If you run on combined, you run the risk of draining both batteries.

I’d get an add a battery kit. For the price it’s just so clean and it’s the “proper” way to do it. I’ve used a Bluetooth speaker a lot on a duck boat, and it gets the job done but it’s just not the same as a nice installed speaker system to me.
