Right, but closing the doors could be compounding another minor issue. If you have another tech come out, ask him to check the head pressure if he’s unable to find a leak in the coil. Especially with how hot it’s been.

No breakers, inside or outside, were tripped.
I’m back in action though.
Apparently, my HVAC guy said that the door to the furnace had vibrated open causing the unit to go offline.

oh well, he most likely has it turned off in the attic because he wasnt finished hooking it up

It’s freezing up at night. During the day the heat prevents it from freezing. Check your pipes but your unit outside.
But this is from a freon leak. Get a leak detector. Hopefully you only have to replace the coils.
