I just recieved my PSA upper in Grendel and haven't even zeroed it yet but I can tell I am going to love it. Jumped in whole hog with new brass, dies, etc. Headed to the range in a minute to see how she does. I wonder what took me so long to notice this round.

Let us know what your favorite bullets and powder are.

I’ve just started working up some loads with mine.

26 and 26.5 grains of IMR 8208 xbr using 120g Barnes TTSX are the 1st

Will be trying some Hornady 120g Hornady GMX as well.

I picked 100 rounds of Hornady Black 123 ELD-M on sale at Academy last week for about 16 bucks a box. I also finished loading up 100 with the same bullet using CFE 223. Headed out in a bit to try it out with my chronograph. I really want to try the Nosler AccuBond Long Range 129 grain. I have heard it works really well for hunting in the Grendel. One thing I wish for is better and more available mags for it. If someone could fond a way to put out a good polymer mag it would be nice.

You could got to Choice HANDLOADED ammo. They load a 6.5 with a 123 grain lapua Bullet. Nothing is more accurate that this.

From the article:

Next Generation Squad Automatic Rifle

Isn’t the M249 the squad automatic weapon (SAW)? Are they replacing the M16 and M4 systems or the M249?
