That nonresidents can purchase handguns in other states. I tried to buy a pistol at bass pro in Pearl MS and the guy looked at me like I was an idiot. Bought a few rifles and a shotgun at Vans in Brandon no problem.

Currently you can buy a long gun across state lines (this is/was only touching states but not sure if that’s still the case) but not pistols.

To buy a pistol in another state you had to pay for the pistol, ship it to a dealer in your state, and then pay transfer fees.

This ruling says that’s unlawful.

So much 2A winning, also today the DoJ also stated that the Federal ban on selling handguns to 18 - 20 year olds was also unconstitutional and would no longer be enforced against FFL's.

It always was a stupid law. You can buy a long gun in another state, but not a handgun, what sense does that make?
