I just bumped this because I saw some of you received the lights you ordered and were happy with them. Glad you liked them.
Anyone looking for a deal on some compact flashlights, check out field supply.
They have a 511 ATAC A1 and an A2 for $19.99 and $24.99 respectively... Both of those are going for over $40 on amazon right now and typically retail for over $50-$60. Great little lights. We use them here at work. Cree LEDs.

How do these compare to the streamlights of comparable size ?

I've never held a streamlight to be able to compare.
All I can say is these are rugged, thanks to an all aluminum body and bright. The A2 is brighter than the A1, of course, but 100 lumens from a from a 1 cell light is pretty damn good if you go with the smaller one.

if i had a need it looks like a good light. I bought the streamlight protac hl a year ago for like $60 and its brighter than my old qbeams i used to own

It is pretty crazy how bright those Cree LED lights can be. I basically have no use for any of my q beams any more. I will order one of those to check it out.

I just got my A2 in from this posted deal. It is just as bright as my mag light led that requires 3 D batteries and it's about 1/5 the size. I appreciate the info on this deal.

Thanks OP for the info on these lights. I ordered one of each, and they came in today. I only had time to check out the smaller one this afternoon, but I am impressed with the brightness. I like that they use AA batteries instead of the 123A batteries. You've got me checking the live deals every day now.

They have the same deals come around for the most part. Might have a different title but same gear. Just sign up for the daily emails about all their good deals.... I promise its good idea
